Description
The Nisse is hand-carved from linden wood, holding a sword carved from the same block as his body. He stands on a base of elm.
Next to him rises a real stone, hand-shaped to resemble a Viking Age runestone. The runes are carved by hand, painted with traditional red ochre, and mean luck and fortune – a timeless blessing.
Leaning against the stone is a hand-turned, fire-burned linden shield pierced by a small aspen arrow. The figure is painted and sealed with eco-friendly water-based lacquer.
