In Scandinavian folklore, the Nisse (Gnome) is said to guard the homestead, bring comfort, and keep the darkness away. This hand-carved figure carries a lantern before him – a small light that never fades.
Carved from linden wood and painted with my own traditional egg-oil tempera made from natural pigments, each detail is unique. The lantern is painted in acrylic and filled with resin and luminous powder, making it softly glow in the dark – like a magical flame.
Every Nisse is a one-of-a-kind piece, created in my workshop in Sweden, and comes in a gift box with a signed certificate of authenticity.
